The Downtown Writers Network is a resource for independent writers in central Ohio.

Located in Columbus, we provide services to freelancers, businesses that use freelance talent, and all creative writers in the dynamic mid-Ohio market.

Our online form for posting ads is currently unavailable. Please send an email to us supplying the following information:

- Title - Please write your name as you want it to appear on the website. You may also add a brief descriptive headline, such as "Al Smith - Speechwriter, Publicist, Fundraising."

- Keywords - Our search engine will scan the keywords that you provide here. These words will not actually appear on your profile, but will still be visible to the search engine. Please place a comma between each keyword or key term. Remember that prospective clients will probably use a variety of terms to search for a writer with your talents. Try to anticipate as many variations as you can and include them all -- for example, "speeches, speech writer, speechwriter, speechwriting, speech writing, public speaking."

- Contact Information - This information will appear on your profile page. Supply your name and any other information you wish clients to use to contact you (e.g., phone number, email, mailing address).

- Profile - Write a profile of one or more paragraphs about your writing experience, credentials, qualifications, and the types of projects you are available for. This profile will appear on your personal page.
